Lazier Dim Sum

Created on 17 Oct 2021

Have you ever thought dim sum was too much work? Did you ever wish the food would come right to you? Now it can!!!

Our project is to create a system that improves the dim sum experience by making sure that you no longer have to spin an entire lazy susan. Dim sum is an interactive meal where you and your friends sit around a table of dishes and spin the turntable to retrieve the food you want. By adding QR codes to the bottom of dishes along with computer vision and a motor at the center of the table, you can quickly and easily have food brought right to you!
