The Thrill of Board Games Combined with Robotic Precision
We will bring the wonder of robotics to the board game industry with Infinifun. The general gameplay is similar to that of Pong, in which a ball collides with walls and scores points when it reaches the end of the board. However, our game ball will be a robotic disc with infrared sensors to detect the end of the table and bounce off the edges, emulating a physical wall. As such, the game can be played on any flat surface, such as your dining room table at home, and is extremely portable.
Unlike Pong, the players do not have paddles, but place colored tiles on their side of the game board that adjust ball movement. A green tile speeds up the ball, a red tile slows down the ball, a blue tile offsets the ball direction by a certain amount, etc. The ball contains a color sensor that determines when to adjust its motion. Each player wants to arrange his/her tiles in such a manner to direct the ball towards the opponent’s goal.
Welcome to the board game of the 21st century!
